In hypnosis you may feel calm, euphoric, focused, secure and relieved. A few minutes of hypnosis can seem like several hours of restful sleep. Every morning when you first wake up and every night just before you fall asleep you go into a light state of hypnosis. When watching a good TV show or movie, reading a great book or daydreaming, you go into a similar state.
Anyone of average or above average intelligence who wants to be hypnotized can be. There is no incorrect way to go into hypnosis.
Four to ten sessions are average. Some people accomplish their goal in a single session. I make counseling and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) a part of each hypnotherapy session. Self hypnosis is taught to accelerate the process along with a recording of your session.
I have counseled individuals, couples, teens and families for many years. I believe most problems stem from a lack of understanding which results in poor communication. I deal with the core issues so families can create a strong bond, couples can have better intimacy and friendship, and teenagers can safely enjoy being confident and independent.
